Is this paint job hideous, or am I safe driving it without being made fun of?

Ugly, but if it runs good....

Take it to Earl Sheib ---> he'll paint any car for $29.95 or something.... if you want to go deluxe, go for the Maaco $149 deal...

Really ugly, but the rims kill the car the most. I'd roll it for free! Chicks will be looking at the seat when you are humpin, so don't wory about the color.

So including the rims and orange paintjob, you'll be spending $2400. $2400 happens to be the exact price of a 95 Monte Carlo with 130000 miles in Good condition from a private party, according to KBB. Go to your classifieds and buy a normal looking Monte Carlo for $2400 so you don't look like an ass.
 
perhaps if there weren't a dollar general in the background... that takes away from the look 🙂

but.. that color scheme and how it follows the lines of the car looks pretty poor
 
If I had no other choice, it would work for a while. I wouldn't drive it if there were any other option though.

And the interior is worse than the exterior.

I cant believe you guys like the interior. must be ricers or something. The interior is probably the ugliest self-inflicted (i.e. not damaged) interior I've ever seen.
 
I wouldn't say I *like* the interior, but it's kind of fun in a fiberglass-carnival-ride sort of way. The exterior would be forgivable if this was a 11 second car.

Heh, the interior is kinda rice, but it looks pretty cool, ESPECIALLY for $1500!!!

Heck, I'd drive that car as my daily driver, no prob. It's gotta get better mileage than my truck. 🙁

Good point, except for the fact that the average $2400 good condition Monte wouldn't have $500 rims like mine would for the same price. It also wouldn't have an engine that was rebuilt 5000 miles ago by a race car driver, and wouldnt have the custom interior (which I personally like).

So all in all, I think I got a good deal.

No fart can or any other ridiculous ricer mods. Other than the paint job and the interior mods, it is the opposite of rice.
 
Do you have any idea what a paint job like that costs? Why were they selling it so cheap if they "redid everything" 5k ago?

Paint like that is atleast $1500! Not to mention the interior job.

Hell, I'd drive that puppy! Where you located? Want $1500?
