Who feels that off topic is a board for anyone to ask anything? If someone asks a technical question, do you bitch them out or just ignore the thread?
 
If they could ask technical questions in here what's the point of all the other sections? It's called Off Topic for a reason, because it's off the topic of the "technical questions".
 
Off topic is for questions that don't remotely fit into the other given categories.

Usually the questions people post relating to computer fit into two or more categories, which means they shouldn't be posted in this forum at all.
 
So the Gmail thread at the top wouldn't fit in software?
I really don't understand why people take the effort to bitch someone out because they didn't get a response in the "correct" forum.
 
if it's legit i'll pm them, if i'm in a good mood.

problem is, i know what it's like to sit and wait for answers in another forum. OT is the place to be for quick responses.

Gmail is a service that benifits a lot of members here. Are you telling me that your hardware issue that you *must* have fixed this instant is pertinant to that many people? That you are comparing the two is asinine.

People post in the wrong forum all the time. I've been guilty of it, and when I'm called out I say "whoops sorry." and move on with my life. You on the other hand berate the people who ask you to follow the board rules, even though they are still helping you with the problem. Great attitude there. :roll:

So you have to wait a bit for a response. Is it going to hurt you in any way? You poor baby.
