DSL hasn't been available in my area. I was curious saturday 4-5 and checked my number on the Verizon website. It said it was available, so I called Verizon, they verified and I placed an order. I recieved a service ready date of monday 4-14, my install kit came wednesday 4-9.
I installed the kit, and my ready light kept blinking. No problem, I just waited for the SRD. SRD rolls around, no-go, still blinking. I call Verizon, they tell me the ticket says "in progress" and to wait until monday 4-21 and call back if it isn't on then.
I havent recieved any kind of ready notification, either.
I'm just wondering what are the chances of DSL actually not being available? Are these waiting times normal? Can anybody with "connections" check it out? And maybe most important, am I getting too worked up?
