Is this normal??? (PSU)

My house suffered a power outage. My computer was on along with a fan that is plugged into a power bar. The switched on the back of the PSU is @ 1. When I got home, I noticed that my computer wasn't on but the fan is still working.... I pressed "power" on my computer and nothing happened. I hit the power on/off button on power bar to reset and computer boots up.

Is this normal or should I replace the PSU. The PSU is a no name brand.

perfectly normal. and also, no-name PSU's are always the highest quality and will NEVER give you a problem.

are you insane??!! of course its not normal, and get a NAME brand PSU for the love of god.

Yeah...I have encuntered some PSU's where the fan refused to turn off!...Some Generics are OK but you don't get the same peace of mind that you do with a decent named brand.

Get yourself a decent PSU mate, you can never trust those generic things :|

Yea, you buy a several thousand dollar computer and trust it to a $40 PSU to save ya a few bucks. Get a well known name brand PSU already!!
