Hi! I?m in the process of building a computer right now. I already have the tower done...Epox motherboard,Gforce 4 video card, 512MB Kingston ram, pure copper Thermalite heatsink, AMD 2500+ Barton. The problem now is I do not have a monitor, a keyboard, or speakers yet. I can use an older keyboard that I had around, but I need the speakers and the monitor. Speakers can wait IMO, but if anyone could tell me where I could possible get a good deal on some quality "sound producers" I would be much obliged.

Anyway the whole reason why i am writing this message is because i saw in Best Buys Sunday Advertisement a -
Kogi 14.1in LCD Flat Panel Monitor
8.7in deep (L4AX)----i dont get this part though. It says 8.7in in the paper, but the picture in the paper
definatly does not look 8.7in deep. Any ideas?
$149.99 After Rebates

Is that a good quality monitor? Is that a good buy for the money spent on it?

I would really appreciate any and all comments on this topic.

THX.

still doesn't say what the response time is and that is a pretty big factor when it comes to LCDs...no?

yeah, if you're gonna do any gaming on this machine you're gonna want to know the response time. I'm guessing since the price is so low that it isn't going to be good at all, and you're gonna get a lot of ghosting. You want like <20ms on an LCD intended for gaming.
