So, I'm sure many of you have heard of the upcoming game, Hitman: Absolution.

Saw this trailer yesterday and while I love the graphics, I can't but feel nauseated at the content.

Cliffs: Group of nuns approach motel where Agent 47 is getting ready to leave. Fires RPG at hotel, and get decimated one by one in absolute gory fashion by Agent 47.

Violence against women; trailer can haz?

There's already a shit-storm gathering about this trailer.

What are your opinions on this one?

I've yet to see a game that's as good as the trailers...but otherwise, I have no problem with the trailer.

How about retarded? Catholic allusions are already overdone (I mean, the end of Hitman 2 wrapped that up well enough for me) and the revealing of the leather suits was beyond silly. Approaching in a v-formation like that made no sense, and you don't just fiber wire your enemies in a group with the ones in front acting completely oblivious. The melee combat was ridiculous and completely contrary to the first four games. Overall, lame as fuck. But Hitman: Blood Money had that beyond-stupid ghetto LA demo level, so I'll just chalk this up to being a product of too much Hollywood and SquareEnix influence.

You can already kill all the women you like in the first four, btw. (Well, not the first if you want to actually beat the game, but still.)

EDIT: Not that any of the Hitman games aside from sorta-kinda Silent Assassin were exactly tasteful, but this continues a downward slide.

I don't care about whether it is anti-"insert religion here", but i am a little disturbed with the stupidity of the trailer as HamburgerBoy pointed out. Whatever happened in those few minutes went against everything that the series stands for. Fibre-wiring those nuns like that was just a bad facepalm moment. I don't know why they had to come up with such a ridiculous cgi trailer when the game is already being lauded as being good thanks to the gameplay trailers. Just let it be Eidos, the game will do its marketing itself. You don't have to pull people in by going for over-the-top trailers.

As an ancient gamer, I'm looking for originality in games. Dont care if its a new Metal Gear, a new Gran Turismo or even a new Zelda...Another "new" Hitman? Nope. I'm tired of the same ol shit.

Up to this point video games have been wholesome and educational. This marks the beginning of a disturbing trend and I'll be damned if I just sit idly by while it happens. I am getting on the phone with One Million Moms, perhaps they can save us from this filth.

This new Hitman game fucking sucks. Hitman has always been about hiding in plain sight and trying to get in and out with only the kill(s) you need. They've turned the franchise into another run of the mill action game.

RIP Splinter Cell. RIP Hitman.

Usually, only crappy games have such over the top trailers. Good games don't need that kind of stuff to get sales. Dunno about this game though, haven't tried it yet.
