I just purchased a 2600+ Barton with the following numbers

AXDA2600DKV4D Y880877251090
AQZFA 0337TPAW

Are these locked? Does anyone know how good this will overclock? I found a store in Orlando, FL that has 5 or 6 of these (no 2500+ prior to week 39) in retail box with with Fan and a 3 years Warranty.

Its stock, I just pulled out of the retail box. I was wondering if some one could tell by the stepping code if its a locked.

Most likely not, I don't think they started locking them until week 39, but there are exceptions to every rule and I've been known to be wrong (on very rare occasions) :D

If they allow you to look at them, inspect the L1 bridges. All should have a lazer cut thru them if the processor is unlocked (bridges are cut).
