Is this just another egay scam?

I bumped into several of these on ebay today. There is no way this can be true.
Can anyone shed any light on this?
Is it a total scam, or is there some truth to it I.E....a government siesure suction, or something like that.

why? because why would he/she sell the information when he/she could sell the actual ibooks and make 10 times the profit?

He is auctioning off information on how to buy these laptops for cheap, not selling the laptops themselves...

they're going to tell you how to enroll in a 'matrix scam'. google for that term and i'm sure you can find a ton of info. it's basically a pyramid scam for the new milliennium, but with a different name.

it's definitely not a government seizure auction, even the government isn't stupid enough to sell items for that cheap.

really short version on how the scams work:
people sign up to be on a "list", with a fee being ~5-20% of what the item really costs. when the accumulated total of all paid fees equals enough to buy an item, the first guy on the list receives an item, and that first person is then removed from the list.

long story short, it's a huge scam, and don't do it.

remember, if you have to ask if it's a scam, then it's a scam.

ok...thanks. I pretty much new it was a scam, since if something seems too good to be true, it always is. But I was curious nonetheless.
