not bad at all, but it would be good to say "MX1000 29.00" in the title and ask if it's hot in here 😛

Doing price changes today at OfficeMax, and I saw that the Logitech mouse MX 1000, went down to 29.00. Originally it was 79.99, is this a hot deal?
Right now i'm using microsoft bluetooth elite mouse, should i upgrade to the laser mouse, I play a lot of fps games.

These mice are too heavy. I always ended up with hand strain using mine so I switched to a lighter M$ mouse.

As far as gaming goes, the G7 wireless is worlds better than the mx1000. I have them both, it felt like there was some lag between the physical mouse movement and response on the screen with the mx1000.

Did Logitech ever manage to make the SetPoint drivers suck less/be less bloated?
What a shame. I had one of these (paid ~$80 years ago) and ended up returning it because SetPoint was terrible (great in Linux after mucking around with xorg.conf, no drivers required). Hardware was nice, though.Originally posted by: Zolty
nope setpoint still sucks, the mouse mostly works with out them.
