Is this HD a WD RED Drive?

I have a Western Digital external and I'm trying to figure out what drive is inside without opening the case just yet. The model in CrystalDiskInfo shows as:
WD50EFRX-68MYMN1

I don't see much when I search this, but I see 2 possible hints.

Western Digital Site talks about RED's and Green's and my model aligns with the RED:
http://support.wdc.com/KnowledgeBase/answer.aspx?ID=11764

I also see someone sold one on eBay and they have it listed as a RED:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Brand-New-W...D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557

Can anyone confirm this is in fact a Western Digital Red drive? Strange that there are so few of these drives out there, and the model is not as common to the usual RED's I see.

Is this a RED, and is this a worthy drive?

Yes, some externals have 'red' drives.
Is it worthy for what?
As long as there are no issues, I don't see what the problem is.

Red is a different product line to RE.

RE will be more similar to the Black range with 7200RPM.

This.

Have 4 older 1TB's RE3's in the main from when they first came out, a RED is a different beasty.

Are upgraded higher end than Blacks really.

More made up for RAID arrays, at least that is what I bought them for att and have them on a hardware RAID card.
