There's alot of scams both stateside and overseas on ebay....some from high feedback sellers (with private auctions, if you call them they insist there account was hacked and the item is not theirs, ebay hasn't taken action on any of these my brother has reported).

The way it works is they will always contact you with a cheaper price to sell or a higher price to buy outright.

They usually insist on wire / moneygram / etc for payment, and will send CC payment if buying (which they will charge back).

There are a lot of Powerbook scams right now.

Yeah screw this guy... I went to Costco today and got the Sanyo 5300 for 190 bucks 😛 .. SWEET phone, plus I get PCS vision, all the goodies and 750 minutes a month plus 750 night and weekend for 15 bucks a month on my Staples employee plan 🙂 .. I am going to mess around with this troll. I am going to email the scam links and see what he has to say... bastard.. thanks for the info guys... i knew these types of scams were around, but this guy doesnt know whose hes messing with.

If it involves EBay, and wiring large sums of money to a 3rd world nation... it's a scam!

If you get scammed from overseas, you're a dumbass.
Use common sense.

Thoes matrix phones, I dunno, are we that superficial?
