That description is really confusing...

It says it's pc2700 and then down lower mentions pc100 and pc133.
If this is pc2700 as I suspect, then it's not going to work with your PIII afaik.

Do you know what you currently have for memory?

More memory will increase performance in programs if you're currently running out of memory.
If you want to save more files, a bigger harddrive is what you want, not more ram.

EDIT: also, your older computer may not be able to use single 512mb sticks. I don't remember what the limit for dimm size was on my old PIII, but I think it was 768mb max (3x256)

ram is super cheap now.

If you're getting a new system together, a gig for under $100 would be a good idea.

Make sure to come back and we can recommend some stuff for you when the time comes :)

Getting 512mb of ram for that PIII wont work in a new computer fyi.
