Someone responded with this Memory in my other thread
Memory: Corsair - Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3200 Memory

This memory is $250.10 CAD
My budget for memory is $ 400 CAD
Should I get better ram for better gaming experience. If so can u recommend something better. I'm a newb so I'm still learning

That RAM isn't very good for gaming.

One, it doesn't have "gaming" in it's name. And two, it does not have any RGB lighting. ;)

Seriously though, it's perfectly fine and you really could have just clarified it in your build thread. Many people here use Corsair memory exclusively. The gaming experience is mostly limited by your CPU and GPU choices.

what about this RAM

It won't matter much. Many times the higher priced RAM has bigger heatsinks on it, which don't matter much for RAM. I'd personally just stay with the Corsair DDR4 3200 you first asked about.

I'm also on planning to get MSI GTX 1080TI. Is this video card good enough for gaming?

Yeah, that card will play Minecraft and solitaire. ;) That card will have you gaming very nicely (and it had better for $750+) :p

Since it's such a new board, Corsair probably hasn't validated any memory yet for it. You can contact them via email and see if they have internal information they can give you.

You also can use G Skill or Crucial RAM as they update their compatibility charts faster than Corsair, or you can use Asus' QVL and see what they have validated so far:

I went to these links but its a bit too technical for me. What about this motherboard ASUS ROG Maximus X Hero (Wi-Fi AC) LGA 1151 (300 Series) Intel Z370 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 ATX. Will that memory work with this one. The motherboard is a bit pricy $$339.And this memory https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Produ...ill_TridentZ_DDR4-4000-_-20-232-495-_-Product This memory is $394.99 Its more expensive than the one posted above. Is it worth it to get this motherboard and this memory. Or should I just stick with Corsair - Vengeance and a cheaper motherboard? If u know a good cheaper board can u suggest one. Thanks

That's a lot of different questions all rolled into one. With Intel CPUs, once you go over DDR4 3200, it really has very limited return on investment. Yes, it is slightly faster in synthetic benchmarks, but you won't notice any "real world" difference.

As far as the links I provided, the RAM tools have you select your motherboard model number, and then tell you all the memory that will work. For example, G Skill lists all the sets of RAM from the slowest (DDR 2133) up to DDR4 3866. The differences are the kit sizes and the timings. If you want a solid 16GB kit, this set is listed as compatible with the Asus ROG Strix Z370-H Gaming, and it has low latency timings at 14-14-14-34 (just Google what RAM latency is, and read an article).

ok i went to https://www.gskill.com/en/configurator again. At first i didn't know what chipset to select but i managed to find it. I selected Intel D4 DT Dual Channel O.C Z370. And like u said the model was there. And from there i found
[Trident Z] F4-3200C14D-16GTZ
just like u mentioned.
and then i went to this link u provided https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/ROG-STRIX-Z370-H-GAMING/HelpDesk_QVL/ and i looked under vendors part number and size and it was there

I did a quick search for the memory and i couldn't find that exact one. this is what i found. Its F4-3200C14D-16GTZR https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Produ...=G.Skill_Trident_Z_RGB-_-20-232-485-_-Product

https://www.gskill.com/en/product/f4-3200c14d-16gtzr it has the same low latency timings

That kit is labeled as compatible for your motherboard according to the Gskill link I gave you.
