Is this good for a car charger?

Hi. Just want to make sure this thing can do what I want.

I wanna provide some movie entertainment as a drive on our weekend trip. Will the laptop be able to charge and function while the car is on with this adapter? Any suggestions would be great. Thanks guys.

Isn't there some rule about having to know your arse from a hole in the ground to comment on things?

OP - Look at the AC adaptor for your laptop - it should tell you how many watts its peak output is. As long as your convertor is higher than that - and I haven't personally seen a laptop that draws more that 90W at the jack - you'll be just fine.

Now now M4H, not everybody understands electricity. Current, volts, watts, OH MY! 😛

I introduced myself to electricity a long time ago. It shook my hand. Quite a grip that little ah heck's got. 😀

They make inverters for cars. If you have a 110v laptop power converter that might work better. An inverter can convert the 12V to 110/120V. A Car battery is not 12V it is over 13 volts. Check it with a Volt Meter.
