Is this good download speed ?

its decent, but Comcast does that power boost crap that gives you that speed for about 10 seconds, then you get limited back to the advertised speeds. like 10Mb/s most likely.
 
Yea, I figured it would be something like that.

I tried downloading a demo from Gamespot, and the speed was just over 900kbps during the entire download. So it is not as fast as they are leading to believe.

But I do think it is twice as fast as before, because when I downloaded the same demo before they upgraded it, it was 450kbps. So I guess twice as fast is ok. Especially since *somehow* they got the monthly bill $8 cheaper 😕
 
PowerBoost is extra speed if the file you're downloading is smaller than 10mb, or something like that.
