is this game pad any good?

but really i notice that pad is hella old school from like 20 years ago probably wont even work on xp.. so im gonna put the limit to 20 bux whats the best one i can get in that range?

I would say that there are no GOOD gamepads for $20 by today's standards. However, the Logitech Dual Action is pretty good, and maybe if you're gentle with it, it will last more than a few months.
 
Get a EMS Playstation-> USB adaptor and use your PS2 controllers. If you have a GC or Xbox get an adaptor for one of those too. The usually cost around 15 bucks.

or you can get the actual controller (Logitech dual action) for $20 😛

it's exactly the same as a PS2 controller, and it's native USB, supported without drivers in Win2k/XP

I second that. The official console controllers are all made very well. If you don't have a console controller, you may want to think about getting a PS2 one; they are often on sale in stores. Or you could get an Xbox controller and modify it to work on PC without a converter.
