is this game pad any good?

LOL

I have JUST that one. It's all right actually. I can actually play games like street fighter fairly well on it. It's better than the ps2 disconnected dpad imho and much better than the ms sidewinder. It's no xbox controller though. It's kinda flimsy and has a cheap feel to it. But the response is pretty good. EIGHT buttons too.

Um, I've got one here that says "13" 😛

Four face, four shoulder, two on the back, two thumbstick clicks, center button.

Perfect for PSX emulation.

I had one of the P220 pads. Sold it on the FS/T forum a little while ago. Worked perfectly fine for the Genesis/NES emulator setups that I bought it for. You can buy them brand new from Circuit City for $10 + tax.

Great gamepad. I've mostly used it for MVP 2004, and let me tell you, it works great once you get past EA's horrible coding. I had a little cheapie generic PS2 style pad that broke, and there is absolutely zero comparison. Highly recommended.

i use the logitech dual analog ps2 like one. I forget the actual name, but bought it in store for 19.99, not bad and i really love the joystick, plus it's great for nhl2004, the only game i really use it for.

Logitech Dual Action i think is the name, in general logitech products do good for me 🙂

I say get a saitek with analog sticks. Even if you don't like it, some games require it and you don't want to not be able to play a good game because there's no stick on your gamepad.

Thrustmasters and Logitech Dual Actions break down way too easily. My Thrustmaster Dual Power broke within a year. I've heard a lot of Logitech Dual Actions break within 3 months.

The one I linked you to isnt a referb but rather a reconditioned one. It means it has come from the factory as new condition and repaired if needed, as close to new as you can get. Referb goes to some one they plug it is and if it works it gets cleaned and resold.
