Titans Quest + expansion.

I read alot of good reviews, so....worth the pickup ? It seems it is a "Diablo" style game.

Yes, it is a Diablo game. Very good and well worth it, lot of great mods as well.

I have seen this as a GOOD game... Not in awhile though. So it had left the deep dark recesses of my mind....... ITS BACK.

Worth it. One and only game that I have played through more than once.

Take that back, I've also played Serious Same:TFE and TSE more than once

It actually is a good game, if you like the Diablo formula. it is actually one of the better ones in that vein, and has updated graphics over Diablo 2.

I liked the main game, but didn't like the expansion as much. I don't think I actually ever finished the expansion.

It was really bad for me when it first came out, only game I had to give away because it was so bad(as in good); I tried playing it again last year, but I guess I plum forgot how slow-paced the game was - it felt like I had to haul ass to play multiplayer w/ my wife; 5 mins. of trekking it, and 1 min. of fighting, rinse and repeat ad nauseam.

Now I prefer Torchlight's pacing a lot better, granted it may be just my opinion, and I'm looking forward to T2 when it comes out.

Titan Quest is great. It's totally a Diablo 2 clone and it doesn't care. Recommended.

disagree. i had a hard time getting through. it just didnt have the right feel. i still thought it was well done though, but i definitely didn't have the addiction like i did for D2.

then again i played it solo. if anyone wants to MP it, i'd be down for giving it another shot.

Titan Quest was one of those "Wow!" games for the first few hours for me, but quickly slipped into slog mode from there. I never even finished the original.

You disagree with my factual statement about my own addiction to a game?

I loved the run, kill loads of stuff with other people then farm for items part of Diablo 2 because it was really fun.

Titan Quest just had such a diverse skill set to choose from and that was MUCH better than Diablo II's. The gameplay wasn't as footloose and fancy free but it was still darn good fun. The addition of certain creatures only being found at certain difficulty levels was a great addition.

TQ is much better than Torchlight, IMHO. The class variation is WAY better, so you can customize you character much more. I also like the presentation better, but that's just my opinion.

Torchlight is basically a casual game, so no, I'd put Torchlight extremely low on my list of good action RPG's. Personally I found it to be nothing like Diablo where it counts, and only similar in aspects that really don't matter much. IMO etc.
