Another Anandtech member pointed out if you opt for 3 to 7 days shipping, its free. Even a better day if they honor it.

Great, techbargain dot com is advertising this deal.

update 3
Doesn't look like this is a legit Win2k upgrade guys, read other Anandtech member's comments.

If this is legitimate, you just gave it the kiss of death by telling the whole world at Anand's forums.

Just a comment on the title of the thread "...$24.60 plus shipping?": If you choose the 3 to 7 business day option shipping is free at onvia. I had to jump on this one.

whoo we, got me one two. This is a good deal. I think you are right. They are blowing them out cause XP is on the way. A good deal as long as you have a licence for NT!

I believe this might be some sort of upgrade kit for multi-languages. Other sites have the same part # for $27 or less.

Same here - if it's legitimate, its a great price. If they cancel it, all I'm out is the 2 minutes is took to order.

Thanks!

If you are correct, then this is totally misleading consumers with how they presented this software on Onvia. If you check out the website, it looks like they are selling Win2k OS upgrade.

The part # is for "Win Pro 2000 Multilanguage Upgrade CD" as stated before. I don't think this is the actual Upgrade CD, unless they put in the wrong part# and an incredibly low price. Misleading true, but I'm sure they did it on accident. Be careful with this one!

I did a couple of searches on the product ID, Micorsoft page doesnt have it. A google search had many places with that product id, it appears to mainly sold outside of the US and is a "multilingual" version. I hope "english" is one of them. :)

Hmm, so who's gonna cancel it? I copied the site so if they send me that language pack I am gonna tell them that is not what I ordered. Anyone going to cancel? How many people ordered it?
