What's bad, if something like that were totaled, most folks don't have enough insurance to cover it. Yowsa, paying out of pocket...

Then again, most folks can't afford an Enzo..

I mean if you were to hit it. If you have a 100/300/100 policy, and you total a 500,000 car, 400,000 is coming out of your pocket.

Which is why I'm ALWAYS very careful when driving around the high-dollar sports cars....its not something that you would want to rear-end, scratch, ding, etc. Of course, I think an individual that carrys, for ex, 300/300/100 with 1 mil umbrella should be fine....though I've never heard of a $1 mil unmbrella going to pay a pd claim...its usually some sort of BI payout, etc.

And conversely, the individual driving the Enzo actually can't buy regular insurance. Allstate, State Farm, Geico, Progressive, Travellars, Liberty Mutual etc, wont underwrite the Enzo (and other very expensive cars)....

How unlucky... I hope whoever bought this car can afford another one... That would be horrible to lose a car like that and never get it back.

Most likely they can afford another and I think the biggest issue is actually finding another one or getting that repaired
IIRC all 400 ENZO's world wide are already spoken for.

edit btw the photo is real.
