Just because it leads to ebay doesn't always mean it's ebay.

Classic scam. Been kicking around for a few years now. Variations are for online bank accounts. Never, ever, give information on your account back to the organization (or those claiming to be) that request it.

I get "page not found" when I click on the link.

Because NFS4 didn't actually paste the real link - just the one users think they're going to (it autolinks)

After doing a "view source" on the email, here's the actual link:

http://www.ebay-11.com

Definitely a scam once you click on the link.

Dear God Almighty! They're getting everything from you. All sorts of stuff that eBay never asks for.

Please forward the e-mail to eBay, and your ISP.

Ebay would never say something like that through e-mail. I think at the most they'd say there is something wrong with your account, call us at our toll-free tech support number or something like that. They've told me before that I had a balance and that if it wasn't paid I wouldn't be able to bid/buy.

yes i know it might take you to a site that looks like ebay, but can they edit the actuall site http out at the top? cuz ya know thats a dead giveaway. thats what i meant for him to do.

MIKE
