I am probably way behind on news. but i was told that telemarketers will be calling cell phones soon. so here is a website where you are supposed to opt out. i just want to make sure this website is legit and if anyone else on this board used it.

i hate to sign up then receive a crapload of call for porn? ya know

It's legit, but if you actually get unsolicited calls don't expect much help.

And by the way it is illegal for telemarketers to make calls to cell phones. But if you actually get unsolicited calls see the aforementioned.

actually, it helped me a lot. it also helps to tell your credit card company to put you on their "do not call list" in terms of credit transfer offers, etc.

From what I remember, you shouldn't need to put your cell phone on that list. It's been very benificial for people putting their land lines on the list though from what I've heard.
