Is this decent?

Got you all curious, heh? 🙂

Just downloaded 3DMark 2001 SE, never used it before.

Result: 2531 (1024x768x32), 12.41 drivers, Win2k.

Is that decent for my Rig (see below)? I don't really care because I can run the newer games (Wolfenstein, etc), smoothly here, but I was curious.

Thanks!

PS. It's a 32MB GF2 GTS.

Update:Installed 23.11 drivers, score went up to 2830.

Well, in terms of 3d mark 2k1, not really because it's really hard on cards that don't run dx8 features (pixel/vertex shaders on GF3+ or Radeon 8500+ cards). For your system, the scores are in line, but a GF3 Ti200 would probably get 4000-5000 on your machine (and other cards higher). That said, you shouldn't base your system needs on a 3d mark 2k1 score, it's just a tool to make sure your machine is running fine, see what newer games will look like etc. As long as it runs the games smoothly that you want it to, then that's fine! It's when directx 8 games finally become the standard that you should look to upgrade.

Hope this helps.
