Most likely, yes. But you can never be 100% sure unless you read the actual markings off the core.

i thoguht 1.2+ where all axia. none existed before the new stepping

There are AVIA chips too. I've seen only AVIA and AXIA on the 1.2's. AVIA is pretty good too. 😀

If you get a 1.33, it will be an AXIA.

ALL 1.3 and 1.33GHz chips are AXIA. 1.2GHz chips were produced in steppings besides just AXIA.
