Is this CPU dead?

No one says yes/no? 🙁 It doesnt boot, but im not sure if its a CPU problem or a mobo problem.
 
Free computer..

Motherboard just BEEP BEEP's like it has a ram problem, but swapping the ram didn't help. Trying to figure out if its a CPU problem, a board problem, or if I should return it to the pile from which I stole it. The board seems fine though, but I dont have any other CPU's to test it with, nor another board to test this CPU.

 
Dead. My cousin worked with these. Killed lots of em. Cut off the pins and gave me 1 to have fun with. Then I broke it... EDIT: Whops, maybe the mobo is dead??? Do u have another Socket A board laying around?

Least it's not playing with you as i have 1 that I'm working on and for the last few days...boots, does everything fine but won't load Windows, 98, 98SE, ME, 2K or XP 🙁
All the time invested is not worth it !
