looking to upgrade my poverty pc, currently have:
celeron g530 processor (2.4ghz dual core/2 threads)
and 6970 radeon videocard
I can play most of the games with it on high but it lags a bit at some higher-end games and for everyday tasks it sometimes gets just a bit too slow.
Looking at this another poverty CPU: i3 3220 ( 3.3ghz dual core/4threads)

Would it be huge improvement in speed if I were to upgrade from my current cpu to that i3 one?
cpubenchmark.net rates that i3 ,2X better, Do you guys think it would be 2X faster then that POS celeron?
don't really want to waste time/money if it only would be 30% faster or so.
