*for what it's worth*
For what it's worth, don't tell us, tell your doctor. :p

While ATOT can offer guesses and advice, it cannot treat or cure you. Your doctor can.

Friend of mine had it a year ago. I think it all worked out fine but you should get it checked out and keep things out of there that shouldn't be in there (you dirty boy). BTW please clean your butt before going; my friend didn't. Filthy buggar!

and THIS is supposed to be my motivation for going to the doctor? geesh...

I ate 15 hot wings at hooters ("911" hot) and the next morning I could have sworn blood was shooting out of my ass. It burned.

Anal fissure. Also chronic constipation. Basically what's happening is that your stool is too big for your rectum(damn near killed 'em!) and you are tearing tissue when passing the stool. Go to a doctor and see if they can get you a perscription for Miralax and on your own, start taking a daily fiber tab that you have every morning to get enough fiber to increase your regularity.

Good Lord.

If I only crapped once a week, there would be a trail of blood and it wouldn't be from me. It would be from the poor, hapless souls who crossed my path.

<---needs to poop every day to be a happy camper

See your doctor, and EAT MORE FIBER!!!!!

Do bleeding ulcers run in your family? I don't mean to scare you with this, but my dads side of the family has them big time (some forms of bleeding ulcers are caused by bacteria in the stomach that live there... doctors are not yet sure why it is hereditarty to pass these and there is no sure fire method to get rid of them), and 2 of my uncles died from them. The first one was in his mid 20's, had a similar problem to yours, and didn't think anything of it. less then 2 weeks later he was dead from something that could have been cured rather easily by GOING TO THE DOCTOR!

I don't mean to scare you, but your life is worth more then the embarassment of bringing it up to your physician. Get it checked out immidiately, if it's an ulcer it will not sure itself! Also, my father has a bad ulcer from this bacteria, and the doctor told him that keeping gas in for any amount of time can do some major damage (I don't know why, but perhaps the bacteria feed off of it?). If you're going to the bathroom once a week, maybe this is flairing it as well. In any case, get to a doctor and get some professional advice!

As you're no doubt aware after this rather interesting thread, it could be many things.

I finally told my doctor about my symtoms during a routine physical. I waited so long because it was kind of embarrassing and didn't happen to me often enough to be really concerned, and I really was convinced that the bleeding was external, not internal.

The doctor referred me to a specialist and I got the whole camera up the butt thing. No, it's not the most pleasant thing in the world, and that turbo flush they make you drink the day before is some godawful stuff, but it's worth it for your health.

In my case, the doc said yep, it's just a hemmorhoid, and eat more fiber.

For the peace of mind, it was worth the ordeal.

Dude i had the same thing happen to me when I was 16. Told my parents (which was VERY embarassing) they made an appointment to our doctor.

our doctor sent me to the hospital where i had a lower GI done. that was a interesting experience. then the next day i went back to his office and had a colonoscopy done in the office (another interesting experience). both test said it was hemorrhoids. So he told me to increase my fiber intake....

Im 33 now and it happens from time to time. Mainly when i eat a lot of cheese and other gut plugging foods.

Obviously, since he felt this so important to announce, it seems most likely that he is trying to cover something up. Mainly, the fact that he is a flaming homo. Now, when young males are flaming homos, usually this side effect(the bleeding of said anus) is not uncommon.

I would suggest a few treatments or something that might help, but I do not have experience in this area. Try your local gay bar. They might even examine it for free.

You could always bring some cookies too, if you really want to strive for the good 'first impression' for the doctor.

Another thing you should do is start drinking a glass of Metamuscil every day. If you eat like a normal person you should be pooping on a daily basis. Get more fiber in your diet, and drink more water. Caffinee is a diuretic, so it drys you out, which is also bad for constipation. Dry=no lubrication. Go to a doctor too.

I had this exact thing happen before. I went to the doctor and it turned out to be a hemoroid. If it is the same he will just send you to the store to pick up some medicine. I chose anulsol because it was cheaper than preperation h and it had a funnier name.
