Yes, but none of your business as to who it was. I've also voted for repubs in local and state elections when appropriate.

Now I'm trying to guess. HW Bush over Dukakis is my guess.

I'm not defending the manager's actions, but there are a lot of fakers out there. Several idiots even posted brag videos on youtube talking about how they just bought "Vietnam Veteran" or "Desert Storm Veteran" hats and scored free meals and other benefits. A friend who's an officer in the local VFW chapter told me they regularly have to screen out fakers, some of whom even bring in fake DD-214s and other forged documentation.

As for this guy, he's not helping himself wearing a 'digicam' uniform and stating his service was from 1987-1991, when it's common knowledge the digicam BDUs were not adopted until ~2004. He very well may be an actual veteran (I've seen no proof he's not telling the truth), but his uniform does not match up to his service period.
