I hope this cop gets killed, hopefully his family too.

thats entirely extreme, but i am disappointed the victim didnt fight back. at the very least, he should have dumped the drink all over the cop... and really, that guy is bigger then that cop, he could have beat the living shit out of him and he should have. no badge, no probable cause- that cop is just a civilian too.

And get shot or charged with something much more serious that his lawyer could not get him out of? In case you didn't notice the victim was black and the cop was white. There would've been zero sympathy (as if there was any already)...

How can they make a trespassing charge stick? Loitering, MAYBE, but not trespassing.

If someone representing the property owner asks you to leave the property and you do not, that's trespassing. Period.

The guy brought it on himself when he didn't leave the premises.

Do cops have the power to trespass people from private property (this obviously varies by state)? Some plain clothes douche who barely identifies himself as a po isn't exactly a representative of the property owner.

Possible that the iced tea had some alcohol added it to it after it was opened, maybe that was why he was so reluctant to surrender the can, spring breaker's are notorious for pouring booze into a coke can on the beach trying to avoid detection, the cop would have been able to detect it upon sniffing the can top, just a speculation, IDK. I would have just left even though the cop was acting like a dickhead..

Don't get me wrong, I agree that the security guy was a douche. But, I have to assume that he was authorized to ask them to leave the premises, otherwise the guy would not have been arrested.

Again, I'm assuming he was acting as security for the strip mall or store.

Whats the law regarding fighting back in this situation? The cop never showed a badge, only verbally identifying himself as an officer before the arrest. I'm supposed to just let some dude handcuff me because he claims to be a cop?

I hate to say it because I hate hearing about it all the time but man, black people do have a point about discrimination

your signature is very appropriate:thumbsdown:

"What you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul."
