should perform about 2x that 160 g1. i would put this faster than the sandforce drives but i think two sandforces in raid 0 would eclipse the revo.
 
It's just about the fastest consumer retail drive on the market. Fast as shit! However if you are in the market to replace your ssd I would wait for sandforce 2 drives.
 
Was looking at those a few days ago and noticed all the bad reviews regarding compatibility. I wouldn't want to take up a slot in a desktop for something that will perform almost as well on a SATA port. Plus you know the SATA drive will work across all OS's, where as this will need drivers.

I'm only going to replace if my elitebook ever fucking gets here.:thumbsdown:

But for $279 seems hot. I don't wait for tech tech gets cheaper and faster all the time, basic fact of life so if I waited I'd never buy anything.
