For such a cheap PSU, it surely has a very robust 12V rail...

But depending on your system, I'd recommend PSUs with the same wattage from Antec, Enermax, and even Superflower.
 
yeah, it looks ok, as long as you dont have like 7 hard drives, 5 cd drives, and 2 video cards or something.
 
i have or will have:
Asus A8V deluxe agp mobo
amd 3000+ venice
NEC3520A dvd+rw
Corsair 2x512 pc3200
200gb Maxtor sata HD

and my graphics card is gonna be either a 6600Gt or a 9800all in wonder...not sure yet...and its agp btw.


what should i look for in a psu? i mean the wattage and the amps on 12v line? what kinda range is good for my pc?

Aspire is crap, don't waste your money.

As for those specs, 300 watts is fine. If you think you'll upgrade to a more power hungry CPU or graphics card go for 350. I would look at Seasonic and Forton Source/Sparkle, you should be able to find somthing pretty reasonable.
