Is this another Ben Nighthorse Campbell in the making?

"Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is continuing her war of words with fellow Democrat Sen. Joe Manchin in their public display of party infighting.
In a tweet posted late Tuesday, Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) hit back at Manchin (D-W.Va.) for saying she was “more active on Twitter than anything else.”
“I find it amusing when politicians try to diminish the seriousness of our policy work, movement organizing & grassroots fundraising to ‘she just tweets,’ as though ‘serious’ politics is only done by begging corporate CEOs for money through wax-sealed envelopes delivered by raven,” the progressive firebrand wrote on social media.
Her comment, a clear jab at Manchin’s comments and the moderate wing of the party, came after the West Virginia senator knocked her approach as a lawmaker in a New York Times interview while discussing his plans as a centrist in a divided government.
Manchin specifically responded to AOC posting a photo to Twitter last month in which she could be seen staring daggers at him from behind him."

More about responsible law making from Sen. Manchin that's looking as if he may take a BNC solution.

"Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) on Monday night effectively shot down any chance that Democrats are able to nix the legislative filibuster if they find themselves with control of the Senate next year.
Democrats are currently poised to have 48 seats in January and are fighting to win two seats in Georgia that would give the party control of the Senate because in a 50-50 split Vice President Harris could break a tie, giving the party the majority.
Manchin, during an interview with Fox News, said that if there's a 50-50 tie that he would not vote to nix the legislative filibuster, a decision that would take it off the table for Democrats. In order to nix the legislative filibuster should they have 50 seats, Democrats would need the support of every member of their caucus including Manchin.
"50-50 means there's a tie. But if one senator does not vote on the Democratic side there is no tie. ... When they talk about, whether it be packing the courts or ending the filibuster, I will not vote to do that," Manchin said. "

And the Green Raw Deal? Yes, that too.

Democrats are principled. Reason number 10,000 they are better than Republicans. They will stand up for what they believe in because the put country before party.

If you need a reminder of how spinless and self serving Republicans are, look up what Lindsey Graham had to say about Trump before the 2016 election. Now Graham is Trump's best boot licker. With the GOP it's party before country.

Want a few thousand more of Democrats being liars, hypocrites and assholes? It's not as if there's a shortage of examples.

In this particular case it looks as if Sen. Manchin is going to do what is right and in the best interests of the country............. if his Democratic colleagues allow him to. He may have to take the route that Sen. Campbell took and switch parties.

Post more please.

While it’s a stretch it sure looks like Taj is getting concerned the Dems might win those two GA seats.
@MrSquished shows us why @imported_tajmahal is not being objective. No unbiased observer would ever try to bothsides with one side as Trump. Trump has become the Republican party and the greatest part of efforts to correct faulty moral behavior should be focused at this time on Republicans. Democrats are far far more open to criticism of their own who fail to uphold moral standards than Republicans at present. Dwelling on Democrat inadequacies just helps cult like Republicans circle their wagons and deny deny deny.

I was promised more and so far this thread is lacking in follow through. Sad.

One of the reasons why it is hard for Republicans or anybody who is morally up tight to abandon their hatred of evil in the other is that it is the product of childhood conditioning, having been exposed personally to what happens to those who don't obey the rules. No child can survive feeling that kind of contempt to be consciously deserved so the feelings get repressed and then projected. The bad people aren't me they are over there. But there are no bad people. There is only bad behavior and we are fucked when we buy into the lie that evil is our true nature. To forgive the greatest of sinners because they know not what they do means dying to the self that feels it is evil, the ego. But it is also the door that opens unto heaven as we were shown a long time ago but just can't accept, sadly. But the door is always there. We have all been forgiven.

Democrats lie. It happens. I don't like it. Trump has lied more in 4 years than all Democrats have in probably the last 30 years, and you people worship him. So go fuck yourselves. Seriously. You are all gross.
Sorry, but you forgot to post your facts. Please try to make up some new ones.

Of course and i wanted to point out to those in the forum that they still won't be able to pack the Court, eliminate the filibuster and manufacture new States. Sorry, did i burst a bubble for you? I bet i did.

I love ya Moonie. While salvation is always available when people do really bad things over and over and over again, it makes them bad people.

Yes, there's a whole industry dedicated to selling books to emotional suckers who hate Obama for his supposed lies, lawbreaking, corruption, cronyism, hypocrisy, waste, etc but who at the same time support Trump and all of his blatant lies, lawbreaking, corruption, cronyism, hypocrisy, waste, etc. Imagine that.

Is that important to you? I’m touched you spend so much time thinking about me.

Have you considered that while you see the honorable senator from WV standing up for your conservative values he may also be making an opening bid for some juicy committee chairs and dnc help.

What's next, you going to recommend I watch Hannity, Carlson and OANN to get a feel for the reality of politics now?
