Is this an overclockable memory?

have 2 of these from an old dell. Any opinions as to whether i can get e6300 oc?ed to at least 3Ghz (stable) with this memory? On-paper specification looks more than sufficient. Gigabyte DS3P.

i would assume so, Hynix is usually good stuff.

Do you already have the E6300 already?
If not, then an E4300 combined with that RAM would hit ~3GHz without needing to overclock the RAM at all (9*333, stock RAM speed).

I did not even think of 4300 ? ?fsb-castrated? and only £5 cheaper ? 6300 is a way better value for money, not.

I have actually ordered without better memory (impatient me), at least there is still time to change.
