Is this a virus?

I get this screen when I click on Search in Windows... What could be the problem? I did a virus scan using Avast but came up with nothing?

u try windows update? maybe something there can help you out, i have never seen a blank search screen

tried that... windows update doesn't load..it says done and i get nothing..

Try updating your antivirus software, and re-running the scan...

:music:Have you tried to set a default? If not choose search, then change INTERNET search behavior. you will then see a list of providers, choose one and see if it takes...If not, use a recovery install to reinstall XP.:music:
