Posted by someone with nine posts, no profile showing, and the link looks like a referral. It could be!
 
what the hell are you guys talking about, I just started posting here a few days ago, so I am not sure how everything works. I am sorry I should have put some info with the link. I stumbled on it yesterday, because someone told me that companies will pay people to take surveys. I didn't believe it, so I found this website. I posted it here thinking that someone might know something about it and I get treated like crap. Its funny because I posted this exact samething at dodgetrucks.org, because I am a member of their forums also and those people responded nicely and even told me that some are scams and some aren't. Instead of beings dicks, why don't you tell me how to make it a link in your forums. By the way anxi80, are you a fuckin english teacher? No? then shut the hell up. Its a forum, didn't know I had to type professional. An thank you Kranky, I didn't even notice I had no profile setup.

i'll be nice.

1. Referral links are frowned upon here. Members do not appreciate being unwittingly conned into giving someone credit for something they didn't mean to do when all they were doing was feeding their curiosity.

2. it looks like a referral link because you are a very new member and therefore not yet trusted here. Once you are trusted then more people are likely to believe you are really trying to find out if it is a scam or not.

3. The people here are a tad more internet and computer savvy over at Dodge Trucks forums, so they are a bit more wary of clicking random links. If it looks and smells like a scam, it probably is.

4. The repost/punctuation police are out in full force here, and if you do something wrong, will jump on it in a minute because they have either a. nothing else to say or b. wanting to increase their post count.

5. I mean really... think about it.. being paid to take a survey? they are SO selling your information somewhere else to be used for marketing purposes. Enjoy the tons of new spam and junk mail you'll be receiving soon.
 
Sorry, I'm calm down now. I really didn't mean to post something that would make people think I was tricking them into something. It's just if someone would have told me, instead of bashing me right away, kind of puts you on the defensive. Anyway sorry everyone, and thanks freesia39 for clearing that up. God knows I don't need anymore spam!!! lol, although I could use more money!! Good thing I didn't sign up for it already.
