I got an email with this statement in it:
Dear Citibank customer,
We are letting you know, that you, as a Citibank checking account holder, must become acquainted with our new Terms & Conditions and agree to it.
Please, carefully read all the parts of our new Terms & Conditions and post your consent.
Otherwise, we will have to suspend your Citibank checking account.
This measure is to prevent misunderstanding between us and our valued customers.
We are sorry for any inconvinience it may cause.
and it provides a link to this page:http://211.155.234.84/cgi-bin/s.pl?m=[enter your email here]
It's asking for the firs 4 digits of my checking account and my full name. The funny thing is I don't even have a citibank checking account. I tried putting in 1111 and john doe and it took me to citibank's disclaimer page.
If it is a scam, for those of you who do have citibank's checking can take this as a warning. If it's not, just ignore it.
