I'm not sure how "allowed" this is, but here goes anyway!

I'm not getting much help in Technical Support with my problem, and i think it may be a networking problem, so instead of posting the same thing twice, i've put a link.

I hope this isn't infringing any rules!

any chance you could eliminate USB as the culprit by using the ethernet connection on the cable modem? (if there is one)

It could be the driver, or ICS at fault, so you need to elimante one.
