Is this a great deal on a Trek 7700 bicycle?

Here's the posting from the ad:

17.5 Trek 7700 Multitrack W/ Rock Shox Ruby - $400

Trek 7700 multitrack Aluminum Hybrid Bike
Frame size 17.5 or 44cm
Speeds 24
Tires 700x 38c Bontrager Select
Rock Shox Ruby
Very nice bike with very little use in great condition

I talked him down to $350. This seems like a great deal to me. It should have between 200-300 miles on it, new breaks. Mostly stock parts. I'm picking it up in 2 hours. Is there anything I should look at?

I'm also starting a meetup group to ride from Malibu Beach to Venice Beach (in So Cal) and back, so if you want to join, hit me up! Thanks!

How many miles is that? I can do like 30 before my legs stop pedaling. If you're near downtown you should do the first friday of the month sci-arc ride (called ride-arc). Ride around the city looking at architecture it's really cool.

Taking a quick look around, that is a good deal for a lightly used 7700. The bike in question? If so, I'd buy it.

My bro has been riding the lower end 7200 for a number of years now, and it is a great bike. I put some skinny semi-slicks on it since he hasn't been doing anything but street riding on it. I had some beefy *for 700c hybrid tires* WTBs on it for him before that, but all that extra rolling resistance was just slowing him down on the street.
