Wow! Hyundai monitors. About 10 years ago I used to work in a computer shop that sold them. They were actually pretty decent. Lower RMA rate than some of the other brands we sold at the time.

I thought they were all but gone until I saw your link!

I dunno, the 2001 and 2001.5s have been $505 before...(~1/1/05)

If you need a monitor now, seems OK, but Id wait for another HD on the dells...

That looks like a very nice price. However, It only supports up to 1280x1024 ... which, I guess would be OK if you wanted to play games on it, but for general usage, that's a pretty low res. (though I'm spoiled as I have 3 monitors on my desk, all running 1600x1200)

Actually, that's completly normal for a 19" LCD. You don't usually see 1600 x 1200 native res in a LCD that is under 20". IMO, 1280 x 1024 is a better resolution for a 19" anyhow...16x12 can be a bit small for some people on that size screen.

Regardless, it is a 8ms LCD..that's awesome.

Well .. I was comparing CRTs to LCDs anyhow, and I know thats a No No ... apples and oranges ...
I just wanted to point out that the res was only 1280x1024 ... just in case he's a screen real estate hog such as myself.

:)
