Toshiba have a good reputation with laptops and offer good support for the various OS's, even if they did not ship with your laptop.
Best checking their support site first and see what drivers and such are available for the model before u buy.
Also check on memory manufacturer sites like "Crucial" and see whether they are doing memory that'll go in the laptop. Laptop manufacturer supplied memory is way overpriced
That laptop looks sweet, u can add more memory if u need, and TFT is as good as it gets.
I have a cheap IBM i1200. It has a 500 celery, HPA, have upgraded it to 160mb and installed Win2K to dual boot with the supplied 98se - does everything i need of a lappy. No gameing tho' - but that aint what i bought it for.
As long as your not planning on gameing (no laptop is up to this IMO) u be happy with that Toshiba.
