That actually doesn't look that bad for an intro to PC gaming. Don't expect high settings on current games but games 1+ years old it should play pretty well. It would be hard to build a PC that cheap.

The nice thing is that processor is pretty beefy for an intro computer so maybe in a year or so, when you get the itch to upgrade, you can drop $150 or so on a new video card and be able to play anything you can throw at it.

If you're hoping to play games that look like this, I'm going to say save your money and buy something better. I don't want to scare you away from PC gaming, but my video card cost more then that entire computer.

i'm not expecting anything amazing from a starting computer. And I know that unless I spend like 5 grand, I will not get anything like BF3. How would that do for current games. Would I be able to play say The Witcher 2 on low to medium settings?

The graphics card sucks, but for $400, it's hard to complain about it. Just spend another $100-$200 for a better graphics card, and you'd have a decent gaming rig, though the 6670 should probably be able to handle most games on low-med.
