Is this a good deal? TBird 700 FIC AZ11 330$...

that motherboard is terrible, i have had nothing but troubles with it since i got it, do not settle with this piece of s%$t. buy and asus or abit, i hope i caught you in time before you wasted your money on this terrible board like i did. and fic has terrible support, stay away from this board, you have no control over anything, unless you are an oem do not, i repeat do not buy this board

Yeah, i'm with golgo17 on that. I have an FIC SD-11 and although it's alright now, i've had my rough times and the stories people will tell of FIC products. I know first hand that the support sux too! Without tax and shipping, i've seen t-birt 800 for about 170-180 and Abit KT7 for about the same, so that's not even that good of a deal considering you can get 100 Mhz more and a much better board for 40 bux more

That's a pretty good site, there's another thread that points to http://www.getoverclocked.com. This site's in canada and seem to offer slightly better prices, $300 USD gets you Duron 600 @ 950 whereas above 300 gets you 900. But the price on the Abit KT7 and RAID version are incredible at the above site, I may just actually upgrade now

Is it really that bad? I read the reviews on FIC AZ11 at Anandtech socketA board rundown, it seems at their test, FIC did not that bad?
What's the specific problem you have with this board?

The FIC AZ11 is NOT crap. Sure it does not have all the features of the ASUS or ABIT but it is very stable. The SD11 had issues prior to REV 1.08 but it runs like a charm now. BTW FIC has sold more ATHLON boards than ASUS and ABIT combined !!
