link? and what type of ram and cpu?

the 18" lcd will cost you about $400, 30 gb is about $60, ram + cdrom = $40, cpu + mobo = $200, and case + psu + windows xp is about $150, so its not that bad

I dont have a link cause im talking to the guy I'm gonna buy it from... I think the CPU is a celeron (not sure) and ram is DDR

its probably the dell dimension 2350 which has integrated video/audio. there is no agp slot either. Assuming everything is new, the deal isn't that bad since the monitor retails for $565 right now (link).

You can also try ebaying the case for $200 and keeping the monitor. Take that $200 and either upgrade your current comp or start saving for a new one.

The computers gonna be used in an office so I dont mind the integrated video much, though I wish it had an AGP slot for future upgrade. Overall I think it still worth it so I think ill get it. Thanks for the help.
