Is this a good car radio?

my friend can get it for me for around $300, which is what i want to spend on a radio. i will later be buying speakers, amp, and sub.

Get whatever you like, just don't make the mistake of signing up for an internet service just because they will give you a $400 rebate off the stereo.

I'd lean more toward either Sony or Alpine for receivers, but you are getting a good deal on that JVC one.

oh yea, thanks for the advice, unfortunately, i need a double din reciever, and cant afford blapunkt
