I got everything conected to these three surge protectors, Items on my sig, also printer, fax, desk lamp, router, hub, shreder, speakers, air purifier, etc. The strip on the top of the pic is conected to the wall outlet, the one on the left is pluged into the top one, and the right one is pluged into the left one. I dont have any other wall aoutlets near my desk, so I have to go with this. I just received my Dell 400SC, and I would like to plug in another surge protector to plug in the dell and an 17" monitor. Im not experiencing any problems but Im getting a little concerned since Im drawing a lot of power out of this one outlet. What do you guys suggest. Would a UPS or 2 help the situation.

thanks

Yes, generally speaking plugging surge protector into surge protector and again into another surge protector (or extension cord), is a fire hazard. Especially if each of the surge protectors is filled. Adding another one compounds the problem. Eventually, you are probably going to have a problem with your current setup. I wouldn't continue to compound the issue. Doing the same with UPSs probably amounts to the same thing, only more expensive.

And I can't see your pic, but maybe that is just my computer here at work.

Yeah, thats too much stuff. I would highly consider running a dedicated circuit and having 4 plugins in that area.
