Is this a decent deal?

Maybe it's just me, but $4400 for that is a bit high. $3000 and you'd have me sold if I was in the market for a car like that.
 
Well, it depends were you live Mapleton. In cali, especially in the bay area, you will not get anything decent for less than $4000. Most cars (i.e. toyota or honda) that go for $3000-4000 are either mid 90's to late 90's. You'd be lucky to get under 100K mileage on that price range too. Meh.
 
It's missing a lug nut on the rear driver-side wheel. I wouldn't touch that car, who knows how it's been neglected if it's missing something that vital?

I would have to agree with you on that one. The owner must be pretty careless/negligent to run the car like that.

Get it inspected. It could be a good deal but it's always worth $50 to take it to a mechanic you trust and have him go over it.
