Is thier a scan converter that will allow me to hook a DVD player to a PC monitor (Analog)

Most have S-Video or RCA jacks

My monitor has no S-VIDEO or RCA jacks. Just analog DB-15.

The scan converter has the jacks.

DVD hooks up to scan converter (s-video or RCA).
Scan converter hooks up to Monitor.

I have something similar to one of these (an earlier model)
I think I fryed the sound output, so if you want it, you could have it (the video still works fine and the audio problem can be circumvented)

Why not just buy a dvd-rom and use powerdvd? Itll be ten times cheaper and look ten times better.
