Is there such thing as a brand new self propelled lawnmower for ~$150?

Okay, well...

Our old lawnmower has finally bitten the dust. I bought a shortblock for it almost 2 years ago, but the damn thing refused to die. Infact, the engine is still alive - but the self-propel gearbox on the mower chassis is completely dead(plastic gears... #*&$#^#).. Plus it has other problems that a new engine wouldn't fix.

Anyway, yeah. I looked at Wal-Mart, and their cheapest self-propelled model was just under 300$, lol.

Welp, used it is. 😛

Just suck it up and push the old one around. Thats what I do.

If you can get the oarts, the drive gears would be easy to replace.

fabricate some replacement gears out of aluminum or something like that.

Ugh, it's really hard.. our yard is pretty big, and has lots of ups and downs.. lol

It was a workout even with the self-propelled.

I could probably fix it, but I'd rather just have something that works.... The lawn needs to be mowed NOW.
