Is there such a thing as PC166 SDRAM ?

Just wondering ... cos ... www.ocworkbench.com claim that they managed to get the KT7A running @ 183Mhz !!! All this is done with PC166 SDRAM.
Can this be true?

no such thing as something rated pc166 i don't think unless its from another country. Most highest i've seen rated officially is 150, but a lot of these chips can go past 150 sometimes

ram is rated by diving 1000 / BUS Spd, so 1000 / 166 requires 6.02 NS RAM

If the RAM is REAL 6.02ns, there should be no problem.

5NS = 200MHz capable BUS... wouldn't that be sweet.. real 200MHz bus Quad Pumped = 800MHz..

Yes there is 166mhz memory, suncmax makes some virtual channel memory around a 6ns chip rated at 166
