Is there such a thing as Parallel-to-USB converters?

Like DB25 male parallel (computer side) to USB Type A (printer side)?

Does this thing even exist? I haven't found one, but someone is trying to insist that it does exist.

You can get convertors to use parallel printers on USB ports but I haven't seen one that lets you use a USB printer on a parallel port.

No no people... please READ what I'm asking...

Parallel on the PC side, USB on the printer side... Some of you caught that the first go around.

I know of the USB->Parallel adapters, but that's not what I'm talking about.

considering USB has a line that has power, and a parallel port doesn't, i don' t know how it would be possible.

Not to mention bandwidth issues... parallel is only 1.27Mbps. Hardly enough for USB.
